This lovely lightweight shawl kit will be a fun, interesting project with many different stitch patterns.
Each kit contains the pattern and 4 skeins of our Saratoga fingering yarn which is so nice to work with. You will receive 3 natural (undyed) colors - Light Grey, Dark Grey, Cream, and a lovely pale lavender color that we have named Pasque Flower. This is one of our very early spring flowers on the mountain meadows.

On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the most difficult, Elgin park rates a 5-6 and is classified as an intermediate pattern. This pattern is knitted in a boomerang, vortex shape. The finished dimension is approximately 60"long and 13"deep.

Designed by Kathleen Buckley for Mountain Meadow Wool. "Part of the design, in using the color Pasque Flower, came from a trip to the Bighorns to Elgin Park in the spring. They reminded me of all the soldiers and warriors in all conflicts and wars everywhere. The flowers stand up against the wind, themselves a memorial to all our brave ones. Wyoming is full of history and mystery. The Crest of the Wave pattern hints of old seas, old as time, and at one point we had an inland sea here. I hope you enjoy Elgin Park Shawl." -Kath B

Care Guide
- Hand wash by soaking in lukewarm water with a mild detergent
- Let the fabric soak for 15 min, gently squeeze out excess moisture
- Roll fabric between clean dry towels to remove moisture
- Lay flat and shape to air dry
